About Minster Law
We’re a one of the leading legal services providers for insurers, reimagining how motor legal services work to help everyone reach better outcomes.
We’re rethinking tired traditions to solve new challenges and create better ways of working
Our award-winning service culture is driven by meeting and anticipating customer needs
With 20 years’ experience, we support over 1.5 million insurance clients across the UK
So, we favour collaboration over confrontation, fast digital tools over slow paperwork, and the smart way over the standard way. We draw on years of experience, while embracing the latest trends to keep everyone moving forward.
We know sorting legal matters can be complex and frustrating. So, our team collaborate with insurers and support customers to make everything simpler. Our specialist expertise covers personal injury, uninsured loss recovery, serious and catastrophic injury, accidents at work, and employer liability and public liability.
We have a different attitude to most lawyers. We look forwards, not backward. Because we know the traditional ways of working don’t work for everyone. So, we’re challenging every assumption and reimagining every aspect of legal services. From customer service to rehabilitation, digital portals to data management, you’ll find our insatiable appetite for problem-solving a breath of fresh air.
Since 2013, we’ve been part of BHL, which has given us a wealth of experience processing volume claims. Our expertise spans across a raft of claims, including serious injury, motorbikes, and wider legal services, means we know more possible roads to resolution.
At its heart, we believe our business is about helping people. It’s who we are and influences all we do. Our values drive the way we support our clients, colleagues, partners, and community.
With a shared purpose, we can have a more positive impact on the people around us.
We fight for what’s right for our customers, even when the path is not easy.
The difference between what is difficult and what is possible lies within our own resolve.
We help local charities and communities in Yorkshire through our partnerships, funding, sponsorship, fundraising, and volunteering. Our CSR starts with our colleagues, who shape what we do and which charities we support.
We encourage collaboration because it helps us provide a better service to our insurer partners and their customers. It’s why we’re the partner of choice for many established motor insurers and brokers.
Our team of 500+ colleagues offers a rare combination of expertise, with the capability to manage volume claims and provide unrivalled specialist advice about catastrophic and life-changing injuries. To better meet our customers’ needs, our support extends to working with specialist rehabilitation and legal-council services.
We’re proud to be recognised for setting new standards and treating people well.

Cyber Essentials Plus — and beyond
Achieving CE+ accreditation is more than a compliance exercise. It involves independent, third-party assessment across a broad set of controls, from device protection to access management and system patching. We chose to certify our entire business to ensure there were no blind spots.
We’ve built a cyber and data security framework that reflects the scale of our responsibility, not just to ourselves but to our insurer partners and the thousands of customers we serve every year. That includes:
It’s all part of a wider investment in secure, digital-first operations that support faster, smarter and safer claims handling.
Commitment to our people and culture is recognised through our Investors in People Platinum accreditation.
This was awarded on a first-time application and places Minster in the top 2% of the 8,300 UK firms holding an accreditation, with Platinum accreditation held by just 70 companies (0.8%).
