Background
I obtained my Law degree and went on to BBP Law School, where I undertook the Legal Practice Course and upon completion, I joined Minster Law which allowed me to work exclusively in Personal Injury. In 2013, I moved in to the serious injury department as a paralegal before becoming an Assistant Fee Earner in 2016. I became a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives in 2019. During my time in the serious injury department I have been fortunate to work along side some of Minster Law’s most experienced Solicitors and Fellow’s which has helped me to learn and develop my own skills.
What are you most passionate about in your job?
I am driven by getting the best result for my Clients by ensuring they get what they need both immediately after an accident and in the long term. I am a keen motorbike rider and understand the prejudice that riders often face when they have been involved in an accident that wasn’t their fault. I also understand how riding motorbikes, going to motorbike events and the friendships formed around all things motorbike related can be a big part of a people’s lives. Following an accident, it is often this which can be lost or put on hold which makes dealing with the aftermath of an accident that bit harder for motorbike riders. It is not always possible for Clients to return to their pre-accident way of life but through the service I provide I hope to get them as close as possible to it so that they can once again enjoy what’s important to them, be it their motorbike or another passion.
What are your personal interests outside of work?
As mentioned above I am a keen motorbike rider and currently have a Kawasaki ZX6R. As well as weekend riding I enjoy touring around the UK and Europe on my motorbike. I’m interested in how not only new technology is been added to motorbikes to try and make the safer but also how the development of wearable technology is improving to try and make motorbiking safer for riders. I also enjoy other sports such as skiing, snowboarding, American Football and I am part of the Minster Law football team.
