Stuart Hanley

Director of Legal Practice
Background

I have been a claimant personal injury and clinical negligence solicitor for more than 30 years, dealing with a wide variety of claims. I have previously been a member of the SRA / Law Society Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence Panels and the AvMA Clinical Negligence Panel. I moved back to Minster Law and its Corporate Services Team in 2012, having previously been at the firm in the 1990s running the Serious Injury Team. I am currently the Director of Legal Practice. With my team, we deal with regulatory and compliance matters to keep both our customers and business safe.

What are you most passionate about in your job?

To help injured people and their families receive the support and compensation they both need and deserve and to help develop colleagues to provide a customer friendly and accessible expert service and in turn help colleagues feel pride in the work we do and the difference we can help to make to people’s lives. I am also the SRA approved Training Principal for Minster Law and aim to make our trainee programme accessible to all and reflect our diverse society and colleague work force and ensure everyone has an equal chance to enter the legal profession and develop and progress a career in the law.

What are your personal interests outside of work?

I am a keen runner increasingly balanced with yoga and gardening and also following my hometown team St Helens Rugby League Club.
