Background
I am a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives and specialise in helping Claimants recover compensation following injury. A serious personal injury claim can be complex and my role is to help my clients navigate a way through the various rules that may apply in their case and to illustrate how to efficiently apply rules, how to challenge caselaw and how to reduce issues to make that all seem less complicated. I have mentored and encouraged colleagues to help them with their career path and learn more about the work we do together. I have frequently represented colleagues, their friends and family and even barristers. I am a member of the steering committee for Northants Acquired Brain Injury Forum helping manage their directory, identify new service providers, sharing knowledge about the latest developments as well as organising and presenting at their conferences.
What are you most passionate about in your job?
I get on well with people. This has helped me to help clients understand the law, manage their expectations and maintain client satisfaction.
What are your personal interests outside of work?
When I am not at work, I spend most of my time trying to persuade the world’s most stubborn border terrier that walking is normal for dogs!
