Background

I have worked in the insurance and legal industry all my working life - so for about 33 years now. For the last 22 years, I have worked for Minster Law and have specialised in motorcycle claims for over 10 years.

What are you most passionate about in your job?

I thrive on getting the best outcome for my client. Cases come to me due to the third-party insurers disputing liability, not responding or undervaluing my client’s claim. I enjoy getting to grips with a case and researching relevant case law and the Highway Code to assist in resolving disputes. It gives me great satisfaction to be able to bring a case to settlement without the stress of a trial for my client.

What are your personal interests outside of work?

I enjoy taking my border collie for long walks which has been an absolute god send during lock-down. Other than that, essentially my spare time all revolves around my four children and all their various activities.
