Background
I began my legal profession in Minster Law’s call centre before becoming an assistant to a fee earner. I was offered a training contract at Minster Law and qualified in 2008. I worked in the technical department specialising in litigation and in 2012 I left to join a firm in Leeds to gain experience in higher value claims and different areas of Personal Injury Law. I returned to Minster Law in March 2019 to work in the multi-track department dealing with higher value claims up to £50,000.00.
What are you most passionate about in your job?
I believe that client care is key. It’s vital to develop honest and open communication with a client so that they are comfortable discussing potentially sensitive issues and better instructions can be taken. I would like to think that I make the process easier for clients to get through and that they come to the end of their claim with a sense of closure.
What are your personal interests outside of work?
I enjoy keeping fit and make every effort to do my morning exercise programme, switching between HIIT workouts and yoga. I love getting out into the Lake District with my husband and my dog for long walks and cream teas.
