Jolene Cunningham

Serious Injury Associate
Background

I have been representing claimants in their fights for justice since 2008 and thrive in helping people who are seriously injured. I have a particular interest in complex orthopaedic injuries, severe scarring, severe psychiatric injuries and brain injured claimants. I have worked predominantly with victims of road traffic accidents, including motorcyclists and pedestrians, but also have extensive knowledge of employer’s liability, occupier’s liability and public liability cases. I have a wealth of knowledge about cases, along with links to some of the best experts and counsel in the industry, to maximise the success of a case. I understand the importance of early rehabilitation in helping improve a person’s quality of life, which includes vocational support. I continue to push myself with training courses and networking with experts, case managers and therapists, to ensure the best outcomes in a case.

What are you most passionate about in your job?

I am a very driven individual and want to get the absolute best for my clients in terms of damages, but more importantly, in terms of rehabilitation. It is an absolute pleasure in being part of a person’s journey from initial injury to a successful settlement. I am very passionate about building a relationship of trust between myself and a client, and often their family too.

What are your personal interests outside of work?

Outside of work I am a wife and a mother of two and enjoy spending time with my family (and our dog Winston) exploring. I also enjoy renovating furniture and socialising with friends and family in my spare time.
