Background
I am an experienced serious injury associate specialising in claimant personal injury claims. I completed my law degree in 2009 and started my first role with Minster Law the same year, building my knowledge and experience whilst studying. I qualified as a chartered legal executive in 2019. Over the years, I have worked in many different departments at Minster Law starting in our Customer Contact Centre – the first point of call for all new claims into the business. I then progressed into claims handler roles within our Fast Track Department, before joining the Serious Injury Department. Our Serious Injury Department represents only those customers who have been involved in accidents of the utmost severity. My present role is as a serious injury associate, specialising in high value complex serious injury cases, including brain injury, spinal injury, amputation, and poly-trauma. We recognise that many of our customers will face the prospect of adjusting to life revolving around a lengthy recovery whilst also dealing with consequential financial concerns.
What are you most passionate about in your job?
I am extremely passionate about rehabilitation and ensuring that my clients have the very best start in their recovery journey. I am focussed on securing funding for private rehabilitation for both current and future needs at the earliest possible opportunity. I aim to achieve the best possible settlement for each and every client and take great pride in providing reassurance, technical expertise, and general support to all clients and their families, during a stressful and often life changing period.
What are your personal interests outside of work?
Outside of work I am a busy Mum to three young boys who keep me constantly on the move! We enjoy family hikes in the Yorkshire Dales, bike riding, swimming, and most of all football. You can catch me on a muddy football pitch every Sunday morning!
