As one of the UK’s leading personal injury law firms, we’re delighted to have been awarded Platinum status by Investors in People (IIP), demonstrating our commitment to high performance through good people management and strong company culture.
In its citation, IIP said we “made a phenomenal start to its Investors in People journey. Achieving a ‘Platinum’ award outcome for a first-time assessment is not an easy achievement. The organisation set its bar high and has achieved a fantastic assessment result.”
We believe we may be the only claimant law firm to achieve Platinum status, and also the first to have been awarded the accolade at the first attempt.
According to the IIP, platinum standard accreditation is held by just 70 companies or 0.8% of the 8,300 UK firms with some form of the IIP accreditation.
Our CEO Shirley Woolham paid tribute to all colleagues at Minster Law for their contribution to an outstanding result, who all participated in the assessment process, including surveys, face-to-face interviews and the provision of supporting data and other evidence that underlines the commitment Minster Law has made to lead, support and manage its people.
Shirley said: “I am overwhelmed by this achievement as this was our very first accreditation. Minster Law has gone through a transformation during the last 18 months, including moving to our HQ in Wakefield, and I’m delighted our unity and culture has gone from strength to strength. It’s a testament to the effort we invest into the welfare of our people.”
“The accreditation process has been a great opportunity to get to know our people better, and to identify actions to make Minster Law a platinum place to work. My heartfelt thanks go to every one of my colleagues for their commitment. What a way to start 2020.”
She said: “Platinum status sends a message to customers that Minster Law signals quality products or services, to our partners that we are a trustworthy leadership team working with colleagues who are passionate about what they do and to talented people considering a career with Minster that we invest in and care passionately about their welfare.”
Shirley added: “We are a growing business, so this will also give a big boost to our efforts to bring in the best and brightest talent to the company.”
