David Bush

Senior Serious Injury File Handler
Background

I have worked as a claimant personal injury fee earner since 2003. I spent the first 11 years working for a small firm in Doncaster where I completed my training and became fully qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in November 2013. I initially worked exclusively on industrial disease claims being brought by former mineworkers. I then went on to handle a mix of claims arising from road traffic accidents, accidents at work, highway trips and animal accidents including dog attacks. These cases involved a whole range of different injuries. Between 2015 and 2017 I worked for a Trade Union Law firm where I handled a mix of both complex and high value accident claims and industrial disease claims. From 2017 to February 2019 I worked as a fee earner and team leader handling litigated noise induced hearing loss claims and supervising up to three junior fee earners. I dealt with complex contested cases often involving multiple defendants. I have worked for Minster Law since February 2019, I initially worked as a Grade C file handler before moving into my current role of assistant fee earner in January 2020. I now handle my own complex cases as well as acting as an assistant to an Associate Solicitor in dealing with high value claims involving Claimants who have often suffered catastrophic injury.
