Why choose us?

When introducing the solicitor apprenticeship scheme a key focus at Minster Law is around accessibility, providing the apprenticeship programme as a route to qualifying was important to us as it means people from all socio-economic backgrounds can become a solicitor without incurring the cost of expensive tuition fees. We’ve been able to access local colleges to inspire the next generation of solicitors who now have more choice in terms of how they qualify.

Apprenticeships offer a unique blend of practical experience and theoretical knowledge, making them an excellent pathway for career development. By learning on the job, apprentices gain hands-on skills that are directly applicable to the law they wish to practice in, allowing them to understand the nuances and real-world challenges of the legal profession. This practical approach not only enhances their technical abilities but also helps them develop soft skills such as communication, teamwork, and problem-solving. Our apprentices have a supportive learning environment where experienced mentors guide and nurture the apprentices’ growth, ensuring they are well-prepared for future career opportunities. For me, the apprenticeship scheme bridges the gap between education and employment, offering a valuable and immersive learning experience.  – Joanne Peacock, Director of Legal Servies and HR Operations
