Minster Law

(L-R, top to bottom: Edel Selby, Phil Austick, Rachael Jobson, Mark Gayler, Matt Dunn, Stacy Clements, Lee Elmore)

Minster Law has created four new Partner roles and three new Senior Associate positions as we continue our mission to attract top legal talent in line with our ambitious growth plans.

Edel Selby, Stacy Clements, Rachael Jobson, and Mark Gayler have been appointed as Partners while Phil Austick, Lee Elmore, and Matt Dunn have been appointed as Senior Associates.

The new Partners and Senior Associates will play a pivotal role within the Serious Injury division of the business, supporting strategies to deliver further growth, serving as advocates for the business, customers, and the PI sector and providing technical/legal advice and guidance on Minster Law’s most complex cases.

Over the past three years, Minster Law’s serious injury team has grown significantly, which has seen headcount within the road traffic accident (RTA) serious injury division expand to more than 200. The new partner structure will enable us to further build our market presence in the provision of RTA serious injury legal services.

While we have traditionally excelled in insurance industry partnerships, these new roles also reflect Minster Law’s ambition to expand its serious injury capabilities into new markets and partnerships inside and outside the insurance sector, through new alliances as well as potential acquisition.

In addition to the new appointments, Richard Harwood has been promoted from Head of Technical (Serious Injury) to Director of Serious Injury Legal Services. Having been with the firm for more than 11 years, Richard’s role reflects significant growth in the number of serious injury cases handled by Minster Law, which have more than doubled in the past three years.

Shirley Woolham, CEO, Minster Law, said: “These new roles are a key part of our strategy to not only bolster our team but to also reinforce Minster Law’s market reputation as the leading RTA serious injury law firm. Our Partners and Senior Associates will serve as ambassadors for Minster Law, championing our commitment to clients and the broader personal injury sector.

“As we continue to lead the market in the provision of RTA serious injury legal services, these new roles will be critical to our continued success. The RTA PI sector has undergone some dramatic changes in the last few years, and in that time, Minster has enjoyed continued growth and consolidated our position as one the leading RTA PI firms in the UK market. Our new team of Senior Associates and Partners will be pivotal to our next stage of growth and in ensuring that we remain at the forefront of the RTA serious injury sector.”
