We invest in our people so that they can focus on client satisfaction, and our annual awards ceremony on 10 November is a fantastic way for us to recognise the efforts and outstanding contribution our employees have made to the business over the past year.
The finalists for each of the five categories – Ambitious, Authentic, Creative, United and Improving lives in the community – have now been selected, and we’ll introduce you to them, and explain why they were nominated, over the next five days in the run-up to the event…
Ambitious award
We’re passionate about delivering a good service and take pride in driving exceptional standards. That’s why we’ve developed our Ambitious award category to recognise those employees who go over and above the requirements of their daily role to really make a difference to the business, our partners and clients.
Congratulations to trainee solicitor, Joanne Jewell-Purves, who was nominated for this award because of her positive attitude and her determination when undertaking her business seat. Jo was also integral to the roll out of an internal development coach role – her passion for the project resulted in a successful launch event, which was attended by more than 90 colleagues!
Principal Solicitor for Brain and Spinal Cord Injury, Jonathan Bamforth, was nominated for this award for always putting the needs of his clients first. Jonathan thinks outside the box to ensure that his clients receive everything they are entitled to, and goes over and above to help them retain as much of their pre-accident lifestyle as possible. He is also not afraid to challenge the legal position in order to secure the best outcome for all those concerned.
Phil Muscroft began his Proclaim developer role earlier this year and has been working hard to upskill and improve his business knowledge during this time. Phil was also a driving force behind the recent Proclaim screen efficiencies, the resulting changes now make it easier for the business to navigate and record client claim details.
According to her peers, there is “no stopping Agnetha Wescott!” Passionate, talented, enthusiastic and tenacious, she is constantly looking to increase her knowledge and skills and she constantly asks for feedback and development opportunities, while still delivering high quality work.
Finally, Alex Pearl has been nominated for this award for his role in significantly and positively improving the performance of the First Response Unit (FRU). This involved him building relationships business-wide in order to improve his understanding of the processes, before cascading his knowledge down to the rest of the Unit.
Well done and good luck to all of our 2017 nominees!
