Every year we focus on supporting the local community and charity work forms a huge part of our identity at Minster Law. This week our bike specific legal team hosted a charity event in support of The Nick Brisland Trust.
Founded by his mum Ria following the passing of 19-year-old Nick, the trust is currently raising money to place defibrillators in biker cafes and accident spots up and down the UK.
Our team raised £240 on the day which was then match funded by Minster Law. The team also organised a seminar for the business to learn about law and safety information pertaining to motorcyclists.
Talking about the success of the day, Jamie Bindley said: “[the seminar] allowed us to understand various situations from their perspective. Following this, the bike team organised an event with a raffle, quiz, games and a charity cycle (reaching an impressive 62Km in three hours) Overall, by improving our own skills with the seminar, then raising money for the Nick Brisland Trust; the day was a resounding success.”
