Martin Hume, currently finance and risk director at Minster Law, has been promoted to chief financial officer (CFO), effective immediately. CFO is a new role and Martin will report to CEO Shirley Woolham.
Shirley said: “Martin has proved himself an exceptional member of the Minster Law executive team, and I’m delighted that he will continue to help oversee the transformation of Minster Law into a market-leading insurance legal services business.”
Martin said: “This is an exciting time for our sector, as the old claims world gives way to a digitally-enabled, customer centric sector where claimant businesses, like Minster Law, that have invested in technology to vastly improve the customer claims journey, will thrive and expand, including into other products and services.”

Martin graduated from Leeds University and qualified as a Chartered Accountant at KPMG in 2001. Since then he has held a number of finance positions across both the insurance and outsourcing sectors, including Direct Line Group (2006-2012) and outsourcing specialist Ventura (2003-2006).
