Background
I have over 30 years of experience dealing with personal injury claims. I’ve always represented Claimants and have a passion for helping clients. I largely deal with road traffic accident claims, the majority of which are for motorcycle accidents. I have dealt with many types of injury claims including orthopaedic injuries, chronic pain, amputations, head injuries, fatal accidents and psychiatric injuries.
What are you most passionate about in your job?
I focus on arranging the best rehab and achieving early interim payments to help provide support during the toughest time. Allowing you and those around you to focus on recovery. I build strong relationships with medical experts, case managers, barristers and opponents as I believe that working collaboratively makes the journey easier for you. I try to carry some of the burden in the early days as litigation can be overwhelming for many people. I’ll always communicate using straightforward language rather than legal jargon to make this easier to understand. Building a strong relationship together is so important as the litigation journey can often last for several years and it is essential you feel you can come to me with any questions. I appreciate that a serious injury can deeply impact not only a client’s life but also the lives of those who are close to you. I can provide at-home visits and pride myself on being available to my clients.
What are your personal interests outside of work?
I have a beautiful little dog (Ted) who rarely leaves my side. I also have 2 daughters. I really enjoy cooking and travelling in my spare time.
