Allison Slingo

Serious Injury Associate
Background

I began my career in personal injury law over 20 years ago, qualifying whilst also working full time, handling my own case load. After my qualification I continued to work supporting people through their most difficult periods. I’ve experience in handling a wide variety of cases including working on brain injury cases which settled up to £4million, alongside spinal injuries, fatalities, chronic pain and serious orthopaedic injuries.

What are you most passionate about in your job?

The main driver in my role is achieving success for my clients and supporting them in what can be a difficult journey, hopefully simplifying the process and making it less stressful for them. In my role over the years, I have seen how serious injuries affect, not just my clients, but the whole family and believe that the process of seeking justice and compensation for these injuries should not be another undue cause of stress, and it is my role to try and take some of this stress away from them by making the whole process easier to understand. My clients are at the centre of everything I do and I will always strive to get them the best possible outcome.

What are your personal interests outside of work?

Outside of work I love to spend time with my family, take long bike rides and dog walks. I love to watch local live music and spending time with friends.
